How to Do a FS Feeble on a Streetboard (Step-by-Step Tutorial)

The FS Feeble is one of the cleanest and most technical grinds in streetboarding. It looks simple when done right — but it requires precision, balance, and proper frontside control.

In this tutorial, I break down exactly how to learn and lock in your Frontside Feeble safely and consistently.

If you’ve watched the video tutorial, this article will help you understand the key details behind the trick.

What Is a FS Feeble?

A Frontside (FS) Feeble is when:

  • You approach the rail or ledge frontside

  • Your back truck locks onto the obstacle

  • Your front truck hangs off the side

  • The board sits angled downward during the grind

It’s a stylish, controlled grind that shows real board control.

Step 1: Master Your Frontside Approach

Before even trying to grind, make sure you:

  • Are comfortable with frontside 50-50s

  • Can control your approach speed

  • Keep your shoulders aligned with the rail

Key tip:
👉 Don’t rush the approach. Control > speed.

Step 2: Proper Lock-In Position

This is where most riders struggle.

As you pop:

  • Keep your shoulders slightly open (facing the rail)

  • Aim to land with your back truck solidly on the rail

  • Let the back truck sit slightly outside

Important:
Your weight should be centered over the front truck, not leaning too far back.

If you lean back, you’ll slip out.
If you lean too far forward, you’ll miss the lock.

Balance is everything.

Step 3: Stay Relaxed During the Grind

Once locked in:

  • Keep your knees slightly bent

  • Stay calm

  • Look at the end of the rail (not your feet)

Your body follows your eyes.

Small micro-adjustments with your hips will keep you stable.

Step 4: The Exit

As you reach the end:

  • Shift your weight slightly centered again

  • Lift the front truck gently

  • Roll away clean

Don’t rush the pop out — smooth is stylish.
