Back-to-Back Champion at Extreme Barcelona 2026

Back-to-Back Champion at Extreme Barcelona 2026

Winning a championship is special. Winning it two years in a row, in your hometown, with your family and kids watching? That hits different.

This past September, I won the Urban World Series streetboarding championship at Extreme Barcelona for the second consecutive year. The competition was tough, but one trick made the difference: a BS 180 to switch FS feeble. Never done before. Everyone was looking at it like, “WTF?!”

Ten Riders. No Easy Win.

Extreme Barcelona brings together ten of the world's best riders in an invitation-only contest, with places earned through qualification and strong results at Streetboard World Series events throughout the season. Getting there is one thing. Winning is another.

Alex Villanueva was riding at a high level, Bernard Pomerol was pushing the pace, and Gaby Muñoz was right on my tail after the runs. Nobody was making it easy. Every run mattered, and the best-trick section could change everything.

The Trick That Made the Difference

The BS 180 to switch FS feeble was the trick that took me to the win. It had never been done before, and the reaction said it all. That “WTF?!” moment is exactly what I love about streetboarding: pushing what's possible and bringing something new to the contest.

Doing it in Barcelona, with my family and kids watching, made it even more special. A second consecutive title would have meant a lot anywhere. Taking it at home, with that trick, is something I won't forget.

Preparation Meets Strategy

I put a lot of work into this contest, both on the board and mentally. I trusted my riding, knew what I wanted to do, and came ready to make decisions under pressure.

With runs and best tricks, it's not just about going as hard as possible. You have to read the contest, weigh the risks, and know when to push. This time, my preparation and decisions came together when they needed to.

Sometimes, winning is not just about having the best tricks. It's about knowing how and when to use them.

What's Next?

I'm proud of this win, but I'm not done. I want to keep improving, keep competing, and keep finding new ways to push my riding.

A massive thank you to everyone who supports me, to the people who make these events happen, and to my family for being there. Sharing this moment with you made it unforgettable.

Barcelona, this one's for you. Back-to-back Urban World Series champion. Let's keep going.
